For clients of Ray Miller Innovation

Keep your trade secrets defensible, not just secret.

If a secret is ever taken, the case turns on what you can prove you did to protect it. Keeper is a private workspace you share with your attorneys, where that proof is built up day by day.

Access is by invitation from Ray Miller Innovation.

The three questions a court asks

Reasonable measures

18 U.S.C. § 1839(3)(A)

Were real steps taken to keep it secret? Each secret is scored against fifteen protective measures, weighted by how sensitive it is, with stale or contradicted attestations earning less credit.

Independent economic value

18 U.S.C. § 1839(3)(B)

Does it matter that competitors don't know it? The register records what each secret is and why it is valuable, so the value story is written down before anyone asks.

Reasonable particularity

e.g. Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 2019.210

Can it be identified precisely? Vague descriptions are flagged and capped, and every change of wording is dated, so the identification you rely on later already existed.

What's in the workspace

Access roster

Who can reach each secret, with NDA, acknowledgment, revocation and exit-certification dates. Departures with live access raise an alert.

Proof of possession

Fingerprint a document or formula in your browser. Only the SHA-256 digest is recorded, proving you held that exact content on that date without uploading it.

Tamper-evident evidence log

Every event is chained to the one before it. The database refuses edits, deletions and backdating, and anyone can re-verify the chain in their browser.

Independent timestamps

The log's current state can be signed by an outside RFC 3161 time-stamp authority, so the dates don't depend on anyone's server clock.

Counsel-ready exports

A draft trade-secret identification for counsel, and an evidence bundle of digests and dates that can go to an expert without disclosing the secrets.

Separate access levels

Your attorneys, your administrators, your team and outside viewers each see what they need. Viewers never see the secret text in the vault.

No AI on your secrets

Sharing a secret with an outside vendor can weaken the very protection you are trying to prove. Nothing you enter here is sent to an AI provider, and nothing is used to train a model. Scores come from a fixed rulebook you can see in the workspace: the same facts always produce the same result, and every point can be explained.

How your data is held

  • Each client's workspace is walled off from every other client's at the database level.
  • Only people invited by the firm or your administrator can sign in.
  • Fingerprinted files never leave your device; only their digests are stored.
  • Every grant or removal of access to your workspace is logged and visible to you.
